Having assisted many clients with a varied range of family law matters, Catherine is highly attuned to what works best and how to tailor outcomes to particular families and client’s needs.
Catherine has extensive experience across a broad range of Family law issues and has worked within a range of boutique Family law firms, Generalist law firms and community legal settings. She has a deep insight of how different areas of law and jurisdictions intersect with each other which is her key to developing effective strategic plans, with clients, that result in practical and lasting solutions.
Catherine often represents clients in Court and during Mediations and can confidently and effectively advocate across Magistrates’ Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Children’s Court and Mediation settings.
Catherine has resolved complex family and financial matters, including unusual business arrangements and Self Managed Superannuation Funds and can quickly grasp complicated issues and recommend tailored solutions. She is also particularly interested in the dynamics of each individual client, family or relationship and providing meaningful advice about the next best steps in a legal and highly practical sense. She is especially skilled in assisting clients move through the challenges which arise at each stage of a Family law matter.
Aside from being actively involved in her children’s schooling and sporting activities, Catherine also loves to step out onto the tennis court, read books, hike and get crafty with either a cross stitch or crochet session.
